India Grooming Show is a grand event for the groomers to achieve mastery over pet grooming. It is a wide platform for dog groomers to expertise their dog grooming skills beyond the traditional educational way of learning at grooming school, self-learning, or home study.

India Grooming Show has always received a warm and overwhelming response from all over India. Every year we receive a large number of participants in dog grooming competitions and educational seminars from all over India.  

India Grooming Show 2018 was held in Pune, The competition had a Pure Breed & Freestyle Dog Grooming Competition and Model Dog World Qualifying Championship. Participants were competing against each other to be a member of the World Indian model dog team. Prizes worth 15 lacs were given. We have always been committed to education and safe grooming competition, reminiscing that the event boasted. The pet grooming industry’s top speakers conducted educational seminars on using a Model Dog as a fabulous tool by Tammy Colbert, USA and Bathing, Clipping, Styling Procedures by Karla Addington Smith, USA. The judge, Tammy Colbert having the experience of 35 years in grooming dogs is a certified master groomer and had won quite a lot of high profiled competitions with her dogs and Judge, Karla Addington Smith with a career span of 40 years is an award-winning National certified master groomer serving as an educational director, writer and speaker owns a salon named ‘A Fortunate Dog’, flew all the way from US to give tips and procedures to the contestants. They evaluated and conciliated all the dogs very attentively and gave each of them a Certificate of Appreciation and medal.

All pet professionals were welcomed at this wonderful event with the interest in improving the knowledge, handling and care of pets. The National Dog Grooming Competition 2018 took place at the beautiful Balkrishna Lawns, Pune. It was an overwhelming view, as the top groomers showed their talent and skills in the competition arena.

It was a 2 Day National Level Dog Grooming Competition at Pune in which 32 participants with their big and small dogs took part from all over India. Participants were competing against each other to be a member of the World Indian Model Dog Team. The day was truly memorable and joyous. 

India Grooming Show 2019 was held at Hyderabad. It was a 3 days event and all the groomers across India were invited to get a chance to be guided by the two of the best International groomers Shannon Tupes and Karla A Smith. The winners of this competition won lots of cash prizes and complimentary branded grooming products. Apart from this, all the participants received international certificates and surprise gifts. The competition was held in three formats: Salon Freestyle dog grooming competition, Pure-Breed groomed to show conformation competition, Creative Model dog grooming competition.

The second day was fully reserved for the seminar. The topics for seminar were, It’s All About the Prep, Corrective Grooming for the Everyday Pet, Tips from the Show Ring by Shannon Tupes. Whereas the topics covered by Karla A Smith were, The Art of Effective Client Communications, Finding Potential Health Problems in the Dogs You Groom, From Salon to Spa.  

Likewise, India Grooming Show 2022 is coming back to Bangalore on 28Th August with lots of prizes to be won. It is the biggest national platform to showcase talent and get top dog grooming tips from experts.

 Do you know what are the full-day activities of the India Grooming Show, Bangalore?

There are going to be two separate full-day activity schedules for the India Grooming Show 2022, Bangalore on the 28th of August itself. 

Activity 1 - The Grooming Competition is scheduled between 10.00 AM – 2.00 PM. Competition type, Open Class Freestyle Competition. Followed by prize distribution from 4.15 PM onward.  

Activity 2 – The Education Seminar is conducted by ‘Cherian M J’ of the renowned Casagold Pet Care Academy in Bangalore and ‘Leena M’ of Pawpad, Bangalore. Art of styling & presenting a Cocker Spaniel (in the competition arena, in the conformation ring & in the salon) and Introduction to cat grooming are topics they will be dealing with individually.
